Join the Sewing & Mending Café with Edie White, a weekly program where you can learn and practice sewing and mending skills in a friendly, supportive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sewer, Edie will guide you through various projects, helping you repair and create beautiful items. Bringing your own materials is encouraged and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sewing enthusiasts.

Instructor: Edie White learned hand sewing as a child and continued to learn using a machine into her teens and beyond. In addition to making clothing for her family, including her Wedding dress & Wedding outfit for Bruce, she’s also made placemats, tote bags, napkins, curtains, draperies, pillows, & completed some upholstery. Edie & her spouse moved from Nashville, Tennessee in March of 2021. She participates in IONA activities at St. Alban’s Church, including exercise, art, field trips, & drumming classes.
