Bio:
Lisa Jan Sherman is an improvisational acting teacher, and cognitive skills coach, with a B.A. in Theatre and Speech from University of Maryland. A member of AFTRA/SAG for over 35 years performing, on stage, television, film, and radio. She was a founding member of NOW THIS! Improvisational Musical Comedy troupe, which had a successful 27-year run. Lisa co/developed the ‘ACT AS IF’ program, and book, for social communication skills. actasifproducts.com Currently, she enjoys facilitating ‘Brilliant Moments’ at IONA, and ‘Unclogging Your Brain’ at the Writers Center. She is a teaching artist with Community Stage Connections under The National Theatre Foundation. In her spare time, she is writing plays and TV scripts. Any Agents out there?
