In this course, participants will explore “The Figure,” capturing human and animal bodies through drawing. The figure can often feel intimidating or overwhelming, but this class aims to ease your way into portraiture and figurative art. We will break down concepts together, exploring how to draw facial features, hands, feet, and more. We will practice shading and textures, and try various poses and body types. We will learn from artists who create figurative work, as well as study from photographs and models. Participants of all skill levels are invited to join this course.

Supplies are Limited. We encourage all Participants to purchase their own supplies.
