The principles of Tai Chi Chuan address balance and equanimity in the body through movement. Edward Pratt focuses more on the aspects of balance and feeling of movements to address the concerns of falling by older adults. Tai Chi is great for all ages and is ideal for those who are wheelchair bound and those who can still stand; both can be taught together. Edward uses Tai Chi principles to teach body structural alignments, and to promote Mind Body integration. This class helps with relaxation, balance, improved strength, confidence and overall well being.
Edward Pratt is a Tai Chi Chuan and Martial Arts Coach. He has a little over 30 years of Martial Arts experience and about 15 years of experience in Tai Chi Chuan. Edward is compassionate about teaching integration of the Tai Chi movements for Health and Wellness.
