Indigenous Peoples Day Federal Holiday:

Indigenous Peoples Day is observed in the United States to honor and recognize the history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. This holiday serves as a reminder of the impact of colonization and aims to promote understanding and healing. It is celebrated on the second Monday in October.

Closure Notice for Iona Senior Services and Around Town DC Programs:

Please note that all Iona Senior Services and Around Town DC programs will be closed on October 14th, 2024, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. We will resume our regular programs and services on October 15th, 2024.
