Program Description

In this course, participants will engage in the art of “Noticing,” expanding on the world around them and capturing it through art. Utilizing a variety of drawing materials, students will focus on the minutiae of daily life, adding emotional depth, detail, and personal meaning. Participants will learn about drawing techniques, color theory, and applying a personal touch to their work. Students will have the opportunity to work from reference imagery as well as from life objects. We will learn from artists who practice the art of noticing, as well as create compositions of our own. Participants of all skill levels are invited to join this course.
